Positioning by Intent.

Every bar needs more than a menu. It needs identity, ethos, and a reason to exist. The Elephant Room was built as a culture-forward cocktail bar inspired by Singapore’s Little India. Not as a theme, but as culture translated through hospitality.

The Elephant Room Team Yugnes Susela & Team
"This is not storytelling for effect. This is positioning by intent."

Founded by Yugnes Susela, the bar was created with a simple idea: cocktails can be a powerful way to tell stories. Instead of looking overseas for inspiration, we begin our journey in the streets of Little India.

What we mean by Culture

"Culture is not aesthetic. Culture is the origin. It comes from a specific place, shaped by specific people."

PILLAR 01

Ingredient Sourcing

We source directly from Little India. Spices, herbs, and produce are handpicked by the team. This is operational commitment, not symbolism. Ingredient literacy is our baseline expectation.

PILLAR 02

Service Standard

Guests walk in to experience Indian culture—often for the first time in this format. Our service is warm, knowledgeable, and intuitive. Hospitality is how culture becomes accessible.

PILLAR 03

Cocktail Program

We work exclusively with Indian spirits to challenge outdated perceptions and spotlight India’s rise in producing gold-standard spirits. Balance first. Innovation second.

The Elephant Symbol

"The elephant represents wisdom, memory, strength, community, and heritage. Just as elephants carry stories across generations, we believe hospitality can preserve and share culture."
